save the orcas | poster

"Fun" thing you didn't know about me - I really like creating posters (and other printable things like leaflets, planner printables and all sorts of random bullshit). And today our graphics teacher went "midterm is coming and you all have to make a thing in Photoshop so I can grade you" and we essentially could pick whatever we wanted - mostly basic Photoshop stuff like creating brushes or patterns, generally anything the lessons we've had so far covered. We did a poster once so I went "fuck it, I'm gonna make a poster" and since I was reading an article on orcas and on how horribly they're treated, I let that inspire my creation.

Everything, including the tiny lil fish and the orca picture, is my work. The fonts used are Appleberry (the "save the orcas" text) and Century (anything else).

You can also download the poster in PDF format here if you want to print it or whatever.

For now, though, that's all from me. Have a nice day and all that. :)

a new year (again)

Okay, can someone tell me how the fuck did that happen, because I honestly have no idea as to how I've managed to waste an entire year doing nothing. Anyway though, if you've been following me for some time, you'll know that I like to look back on the year past to sort of close it off and start again.

Not going to do that this year, though, mostly because I literally don't remember anything that important happening in 2015 other than meeting Sylvester McCoy (literally the nicest person ever) and also getting a bunny (also known as the cutest creature in the history of ever, but also the biggest asshole). BUT I've been thinking, and I'd like to share with you the things I want to do in 2016.

  • get a Harry Potter tattoo - I actually meant to do that in 2015, but didn't really have the time and money to do it, even though I've designed the one I want maybe in, like, may
  • donate blood
  • visit Iceland and/or Sweden
  • stop being so shy and self-conscious
  • be nicer to my sister
  • spend some time volunteering
  • send uni applications
  • read 40 books - again, that was my 2015 reading challenge goal on goodreads, but seeing as I failed ("only" read 26 books), I'm going for it again this year
  • see my best friend more
  • be more organised
  • redecorate my room
flowers, bath, and grunge image
  • buy more plants and even more books
  • do yoga, swim more and meditate every day
  • be honest about what I feel
  • actually do homework the moment I get it and not the night before
  • visit more galleries and museums
  • see more movies by Hayao Miyazaki
  • do more things that interest me - like animation or voice acting, maybe start working for greenpeace (that's sething I've been thinking about a lot lately), write more, take more photos...
  • grow my hair to at least shoulder length
  • finish knittiing a scarf for my sister and knit one for myself
  • be healthier, both mentally and physically - I've talked about that in the last post I made (x)
  • take more photos

Well, that's it for today. Hope you all have a lovely day and a good start of the year.
I'll stay in touch, but for now... see ya.
